Dr. Dennis L. Rousseau Jr., MD/PhD, FACS is a fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist who completed his general surgery training at the University of Michigan. Dr. Rousseau also completed a surgical oncology fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where he graduated the program in 2003 as the outstanding clinical fellow. He specializes in the surgical treatment of complex gastrointestinal malignancies including disease in the pancreas, liver, biliary tract, stomach, small bowel, colon, and rectum. He also has expertise in the treatment of breast disease, skin and soft tissue malignancy, and endocrine tumors. He is the Associate Medical Director of Cancer Services in the Baptist Health System in San Antonio, where he also serves as the Medical Director of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center and Associate Medical Director of the Breast Center.
